As a third generation owner and president of JM Wilson, David carries on the family business where he started in 1975. His first official title was “Office Boy.” From there he worked as a typist and underwriter handling personal lines, transportation, and property & casualty.
In 1987, David became president of the corporation growing the business from three offices to eight offices serving 48 states.
In 2020, the corporation will celebrate 100 years in business. Throughout his 45 years, David has been a witness to many hard and soft market cycles, changes in technology, and to the industry as a whole. He continues to lead the company with integrity and with a vision of growth and success—not only for JM Wilson but also with our carrier and agency relationships.
